Another great start for Milldale’s Surf Club Scholarship season

The Milldale Junior Scholarship Programme proves to be more popu;lar than ever.

The 2025-26 Ōrewa Surf Life Saving Club season got off to a great start on Sunday with another 25 Milldale Junior Scholarships helping 3-13 year olds get started in the sport.

It was another record response to the call for kids who’d never given it a go, to sign up for a summer building confidence through competition on the sand and sea, learning ocean safety skills while having fun making friends through the Junior Surf Programme.

As proud sponsors of the Ōrewa Surf Life Saving Club, Milldale is going the extra mile by encouraging new members to participate through the Milldale Junior Scholarship, covering their fees and uniform, with the help of donations from Milldale’s Approved Build Partners, who also support and encourage the great work being done by the club across the wider Orewa community.
