On course for celebration, team spirits defeat a challenging outlook

The 2023 Milldale Golf Open - what a day to remember!

While the weather seemed determined to dampen the spirits of those who attended our 3rd scheduling of this event to celebrate the acheivments of 2022, our build partners and event sponsors showed what they're made of with a landslide vote to play the full 18 holes at Wainui.
Despite the threat of rain, 88 teams fuelled by the Windowmakers breakfast BBQ rose to the challenges, from the longest drive and closest to the pin, to the T-ball tee-off, Tuatahi Fibre fastest hole to finish, and Stevenson concrete mixer chip, just to name a few of the on-course antics.
