Another Season to Celebrate in the Surf

The foggy start to the day didn't stop the celebrations at this years prize giving.

The final day of the Junior Surf Sessions got off to a foggy start at the Orewa Surf Life Saving Club on Sunday morning. But the grey skies didn’t stop any enthusiasm at this seasons Junior prize giving, where a great crowd of kids and parents celebrated gaining new skills and confidence on the beach and in the water.

This years Milldale sponsored trophies went to Elizabeth Miller & Jasper Haines for the Under 5 Girl & Boy Water Confidence awards, with Piper Dodson taking the Developing Coach award. Congratulations for all your efforts over the 2025-26 season.

As proud sponsors of the Ōrewa Surf Life Saving Club, and Milldale Junior Scholarship programme, we want to thank all who participated this season. From the kids and parents for their commitment each weekend, to the coaches volunteering their time and experience, and the club facilitating such a great community based activity.
