The crowds arrived early and from all over, including locals and visitors from outside Auckland.

Well over 2,000 people flooded into Waiwai Drive on a beautiful Saturday filled with family fun for all. The day began with a real buzz as the music played, sausages sizzled, and visitors grabbed a free coffee as they checked out all the show homes, while the kids were spoilt for choice with games and activities for all ages. All captured in photos care of Carmen Bird Photography.

All hands were on deck at three BBQ’s provided by Carters, Placemakers and Mitre 10, serving 1,500 hungry visitors. Plus ice cream for the kids and coffee for the adults, thanks to Harcourts and Barfoots, kept everyone fuelled for the day.

Hunger Ball was a huge hit, and bouncy castles thanks to Ray White, Professionals and Sensation, plus lawn games at G.J. Gardners burnt off plenty of energy, while basketball and putting skills were tested at Maddrens.

Facepainting with Sicato and Platinum and colouring for the kids at Signature, Mike Greers and Generation, were accompanied by games and give-aways at Legendary, Golden and Fletcher Living.

There was also a prize draw about every hour, requiring entrants to visit all 11 show homes to stamp their entry and go in to win some amazing prizes, including a Hikoki cordless combo kit valued at $1,500 from Carters, a leather recliner valued at $1,799 from Mike Greers, and the very popular eScooter valued at $750 from Legendary Homes.
